I'm just now realizing that I didn't really leave enough room for a colorist to be in the credits... I mean, I guess I could cut the reference models one, but it's so much fun to give your friends dopey (yet deserved) credits.

This is some amazing work!
And I gotta say, the stylized floating credits is genius!

Thanks so much! I've gotten a couple critiques that the credits were indulgent or whatever, but I wanted to "shoot" this like a movie, so I really wanted to "animate" the credits -- plus, it's Julia's exuberant dash around town, enjoying her freedom, so it's not like it's a waste of time.

...unlike my unnecessarily long paragraphs...

Wow, the credits idea is awesome. Really unique and awesome touch. It's gonna take me a while to read through your whole comic, but seriously, this is gorgeous.

Thanks, both for this and your kind words in the Newest Page thread. I hope you enjoy the rest of the story as much as the few pages you've read so far, and I look forward to reading more of your comic.:)

Honestly, never seen a comic with credits like that before. It's very lively, the scenery really pops out with spectacular shots of the city. Honestly, almost felt like I was watching the beginning of a live action film. Great start so far.

Oh thank you. This sequence was something I was really excited about at the screenplay stage. I could picture the "animation" as I wrote it.

(It would have been a huge waste of everyone's time here, but it's our first look at Avalon escapee Julia, so it's character work.)

I really love what you've done! And I really like the animated feel of the credits in the opening montage. Fantastic work, I've subscribed!

Those credits are a bit perverted I see!

Caley Tibbittz Collopy
The credits are actually Julia the faerie; she's less perverted and more innocently inappropriate. Like a doggie.

ah she is quite something!

She is a haphazard spitfire now. She honestly started out a bit boring and not "alien" enough.

I always love it when credits are incorporated in the art like this

I mean it was just so much fun to do. Once I thought of it, it HAD to happen.

So let's see... So far we have an immortal Knight gone rogue and some sort of playful sprite light. Set against a New York City backdrop. So... superhero by way of urban fantasy? I'll take twelve.

(Yes, this is a second read-through. No, I won't post spoilers, chief. Can I call you chief?)

Clever -- I have never seen credits done this way before --
