This may be my favorite comment ever, so I had to save it despite having to delete it for the overhaul:

Artemis, oh my! I would be happy to see her crotch in your place!

My reply: "This was actually me poking fun at myself for drawing so many panty shots. Kathryn isn't attracted to Julia (and there's a very good reason for this that will be revealed later)."

(The conversation -- if you can call it such -- continues below in the comments proper.)

As with the last, sorry it's late -- I'm very sick, so I'm working about half-speed. I've NEVER EVER EVER drawn any kind of finished work during the first week of a bad cold, so I'm actually pretty proud of myself. I've been hacking up a lung like Steven Page in "Box Set", but it still got DONE.

As usual, COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN! Send me a PM, or hit me up on Facebook or Twitter. My rates are reasonable -- don't reason a cow.

Soup sock,

Kathryn is only attracted to a few women, not all or most or even many. Also, spoilers, screw it: Julia is actually her half sister!

Memoria Caelestie
well that is good to know that it is her half sister!

The artwork is gorgeous but... I have to confess, having read over it three or four times now, I am not entirely certain what is going on in this scene.

Thanks for the "gorgeous" bit, and yeah, you're not the only one who's been confused by this page. I will do a heavy clarifying edit ASAP, but:

Panel 1: Oberon zaps Julia --
Panel 2: -- turning Julia human (her ears and wings shrink).
Panel 3: Oberon freezes Arayna, Julia, and James in time --
Panel 4: -- and wills Kathryn closer to him.

Ah, OK... that makes a little more sense. Now that I have read the explanation, the pictures are fairly easy to follow.

I know you dislike narration but a little bit of narration might have helped clarify this page. Perhaps first-person captions from Kathryn's POV... something to think about for the future.
